When and how refunds are issued for translation orders.
If you cancel an order before work has begun (typically within the first business day after payment), a full refund is issued. Contact us at hello@elite-translations.com to request cancellation.
If work has commenced, a partial refund is issued proportional to the work not yet completed. The portion completed is charged at the standard per-word or per-hour rate applicable to the service. Any non-refundable platform fees (e.g. Stripe processing fees) are deducted from the refund.
If a completed translation is materially inaccurate or incomplete, we will revise the work at no additional charge. We include one free revision round in all services. If the error is demonstrably ours and cannot be corrected to a reasonable standard, a partial or full refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If we miss a confirmed delivery deadline by more than two business days without prior notification, you may request a partial refund of up to 15% of the order value.
Email hello@elite-translations.com with your order reference, the reason for the request, and any supporting evidence. We respond within 3 business days.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (Stripe) within 5-10 business days.
