A high-resolution scan or PDF is sufficient for most translation work. For sworn translations, some Italian authorities require the original to be presented at submission alongside the sworn translation. We advise case by case.

We quote fixed project prices based on word count and document type. For large ongoing volumes, we offer retainer arrangements with agreed per-word rates. We always provide a fixed quote before beginning work.

We contact you within one business day to confirm scope, request the source document if not yet received, and confirm the translator assignment and delivery timeline.

Yes. For technical and corporate clients with ongoing document volumes, we build and maintain a translation memory. Matched content in future documents is charged at a reduced rate. We provide the TM to clients on request.

No. All listed prices exclude Italian IVA (22%). EU business clients with a valid VAT number may qualify for the reverse charge mechanism. We confirm the applicable tax treatment in the quote.

Yes. Inbound translation into Italian is available for all supported language pairs. The translator is always a native Italian speaker in that case.

All translators sign NDAs for every project. Documents are handled on secure systems and are not retained after delivery unless specifically agreed. We do not use documents as training data for any machine translation system.
